A former employee wrote a review about Liftable Media Inc., saying that is the worst job he ever had, posted by Indeed on 2019: This is by far the worse job I have ever had. My manager was terrible. I was hired for one thing but ended up doing something totally different. It was soul sucking, mind numbing work. My manager insulted my character anytime I messed up. He complained about Millennials, me being one and he never listened to any of his employees that decided to speak up. This worsened when the company started going under. The company is constantly in survival mode, pushing people to work hours beyond what they are paid. My manager was unable to communicate what he wanted from me. He wanted me to do everything but nothing at the same time. I understand that because the company is not doing well so many things were up in the air, but to put the blame on me is wrong. Not to mention they have terrible benefits, horrible pay, and a hypocritical culture.

NATIONAL SALES (Former Employee) says

"Lot's of turmoil in the management structure and the systems management would put in place. Commission plans changed frequently, almost monthly, assigned territories were not enforced. Cons: Inexperienced management team"

Former Employee - Associate Video Producer says

"I worked at Liftable Media full-time for less than a year Cons: The company is constantly in survival mode. They are barely scraping by and they blame that on outside forces, which is partly true. What they don't seem to realize though is that their management is terrible. They say things like 'we have an open door policy' or 'our culture is very open and friendly'. None of that is true. Any time I tried to address something that I thought was important, I was shut down and never listened to. Any time I made a mistake I was insulted. I was belittled by my boss constanly. One way being that he would complain about my generation, saying because I am a millennial I need to have my hand held and be given step by step instructions. Really what I needed was any insight on what he wanted my priorities to be or what he expected from me, which he could not give because either he did not know or they changed almost daily. I can understand that because the company was struggling, many things were up in the air. The problem I had was that instead of taking that responsibility, I was blamed. I was by no means perfect, but my manager would never listen to me. I later came to find out that he saw all of my questions and comments as undermining his authority. They say they want someone to add to their 'culture' but really all my manager wanted was a mindless work robot. I dreaded going to work every day. Not to mention their BENEFITS are HORRIBLE, there is no where to move up in the company and they DO NOT PAY WELL."

Former Employee - Content Writer says

"I worked at Liftable Media part-time for more than a year Cons: Financial issues and in another division, disorganization, chaos, some egos run rampant. Inconsistencies. Sad to see."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Liftable Media full-time Cons: You can work your butt off, create solutions to complex problems, and do everything upper management asks, yet still get knocked down; but, I guess that's just how business works. There will be times you will blindly trust everything your manager says, and then a month later they go back on their word. Word of advice: Always send a followup email after you had any discussion with upper management; otherwise, that conversation just simply didn't happen. Even when getting assigned to a different project, your previous manager will have no issues saying "that's not my problem anymore" even when you were the MVP on their last project. It's unfortunate to see that the small company you thought was a second family has no problem replacing you with the next available intern."

Current Employee - General says

"I have been working at Liftable Media full-time for less than a year Cons: Do not work here if you have talent or want fair compensation. Management is slow to react to employees needs or constantly changing field of digital publishing. They view employees as being replaceable and will try to screw you out of pay. Do not care about mission as much as making money. Also Anthem is not a great place to live unless you are 55+ or have a family. You will also have to perform numerous tasks outside of job description without compensation."

Current Employee - Associate says

"I have been working at Liftable Media full-time Cons: No room for growth Always worried about job security Not doing well financially"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Liftable Media full-time for less than a year Cons: Lack of transparency from upper management No clear direction in company goals"

"I worked at Liftable Media Cons: One downside to this company is the fact that their upper level management is an absolute joke. No transparency, unjust compensation and severe lack of communication. The other, deals with their business model. When your entire existence as a company revolves around Facebook algorithms, it is bound to fail sooner rather than later." is a non-profit organization and communications forum for social activism.
